Making Do-Gooders Look Good.
November 6, 2009
Apologies for the flood of information on organic cotton, eco-fashion and green apparel lately! I promise I’ll branch out again tomorrow, but this site is just too good to pass up.
The Factionist is a small NYC based company that makes shirts (and good shirts at that) promoting responsible living. Whether it’s the tee that reads “by the time you’ve read this shirt someone has died of hunger” or the ‘If you don’t, Who will?” top, there’s a common thread of service and hard work in each design. In short, these shirts aren’t made for the slacker. They’re meant for the volunteer, the activist… the eco-friendly promo people
Plus, 1 dollar of every purchase goes to support an education non-profit in Ghana. At $19 a shirt, how can anyone resist supporting charity and spreading the message?
