I love this billboard. It definitely captures attention better than a canvas tote bag or recycled paper notes (although I like those too!). The message is clear here - Use Electricity Wisely. I’m very impressed by this national power company in South Africa, I wish the message would make it’s way to the U.S. in the same way!

Being a huge fan of Starbucks and all things coffee, this promotional item is awesome for me! It has the look and convenience of a paper cup without hurting the environment with more unnecessary paper and plastic waste.
The cup itself is double walled porcelain so it keeps your fingers cool and your coffee hot. The lid is a nifty silicone top shaped exactly like the plastic ones on my favorite disposable cups, which means I can go on with my coffee addiction sans environmental impact. 
I just wish they sold them at coffee shops so I didn’t have to go out of my way to get one.
I wonder what they will come out with next since we already have the “I am not a plastic bag” and the “I am not a paper cup“? Yesterday I saw a painted recycle bin that said, “I am not a garbage can” with a big smiley face on the side- the possibilities are endless!

I came across an awesome eco-friendly promo item for banks or debt-management companies today. It’s a recycled piggy bank with a lock and key.
Because it’s made from recycled materials, there is hardly any environmental impact at all. An added bonus is that you no longer have to smash Mr. Piggy’s head in to get your money. Now you can just unlock him and take your cash out. Perfect for re-use over the years.
Another idea for change storage would be using an old water bottle with a large mouth on it. Powerade bottles work well, and are a great alternative to throwing out that plastic bottle you have sitting in your kitchen.
I found a cool item that is eco-friendly and very practical with the awesome potential to increase your arm strength. It’s a hand cranked radio flashlight that requires no battery or bulb replacements which increases its green factor. It would be a great addition to your survival toolbox for when the electricity goes out or for your camping gear. Many businesses use flashlights for safety and readiness campaigns. Businesses can also use this item to promote the fact that they’re green and interested in solutions for electronics that avoid the use of environmentally harmful batteries and light bulbs. This site has a lot of really great eco friendly hand cranked electronics that I found particularly interesting.
