Repurposing An Old Shoe Hanger

Reusing and repurposing are two different concepts. Repurposing takes an existing object (possibly unused) and makes it have a different task. For example, take this shoe organizer that has been converted into a planter. This is a cool idea to spruce up a deck and give new light to an old, underutilized product.
